Thirty-eight students completed the pre-test last week as part of the Fitness Test Winter 2018 - 5 minute AMRAP at Lakes Martial Arts.

30 second wall sit (perform wall sit before proceeding)

then

2 rounds

  • 15 jumping jacks

  • 15 burpees

(15 JJs, 15 burpees, 15 JJs, 15 burpees)

then

With remaining time, butterly sit-ups as many reps as possible (AMRAP).

Notes: chest must touch floor / feet come off the ground / hands above head in order for a burpee to count.

Score is total number of sit-ups until time expires.

Practice this as part of your warm-up over the holidays. We will do a re-test in February before testing!

Tips: Go Hard! Don’t rest. Pace and breath! Feet before hands. If you want to take a second off of your burpee, shoot your legs back before your hands hit the ground. Turn on robot mode. Get into a rhythm.
