Dr. Suess writes some inspiring words about how we treat others: "A person's a person no matter how small." It shouldn't matter how big or small, the job they have, or what they look like, we should treat each other as we would treat ourself. Which means we are a good friend, we listen, and we care.
This session we have been talking about the importance of "respect," a life skill can be applied to many aspects of our life: at home, at school or work, and in class.
Not only can we respect others, but we should always practice respecting ourself. How do we respect ourself?
- Make good decisions about the foods we eat.
- Choose to exercise and sweat each day.
- Get proper sleep and rest.
